Level 5 Half-Elf Psychic
Weight: 110 lbs
Elspeth is the prodigal eldest daughter of the Veldare family. Born into lesser nobility in Halruaa (and more importantly a wizarding household), Elspeth was trained in the mental arts from a young age. It would quickly become apparent that her aptitude did not lie in arcane magic, having an unusual pull towards psychic magic and other disciplines of the mind. Her parents, both half-elves themselves and certainly no strangers towards adversity, encouraged and fostered her talents rather than trying to force her to pursue wizardry. While Elspeth still received generalized tutelage in magic theory, she was formally trained as a psychic.
The young girl was considered something of a prodigy despite her tendency to not take her studies seriously, much to the dismay of her instructors. Her apparent disinterest in low-level classes was tolerated as Elspeth seemed to absorb knowledge like a sponge, occasionally reciting information that her masters were sure no one had taught her. Some wondered if the girl had been studying on her own in secret, though no evidence was ever found to support this.
Elspeth often found herself distracted by daydreams of grand adventure, so much so that she found that she had a hard time separating these fantasies from reality. During her final years of training, when these visions had become all but maddening, she carried out independent research in the matter. The information was difficult to find, but Elspeth came to the realization that there were fragments of real information and memory lodged in her daydreams, imparting knowledge across lifetimes she had no business understanding.
Rather than bring this to the attention of her masters, Elspeth found herself a new purpose in life. When she finished her training as a psychic, she left her home to explore the world as the ones in her visions had and to piece together the truth about her memories.
